Thoughts about Deck the Halls from Volunteers

"The deepest goosebumps I've ever experienced. So much energy and love circling around the room. Joy and laughter showing signs of a flame of hope still burning inside these young men. It was a great experience for me and I want to thank all of you for organizing this event and maintaining this charity running. Thank you." - Joshua

"As a believer what a wonderful opportunity to share the word of God with attentive children like those at His House during Deck the Halls." - Mar (Cottage #34)

"I am overwhelmed with emotion. The children of His House have touched the very deepest part of my heart!" - Alfredo (Cottage #32)

"God was with us today to spend some great time with these kids, each and every boy was appreciative and loving to us as we spoke the word and decorated the house. We are blessed to have known them." - Marisol (Cottage #35)

"Being part of Deck the Halls was an amazing experience for Christopher Columbus High School. We feel very blessed to be able to share Christmas joy with the children of His House. These children have left an imprint on our hearts this holiday season that is sure to last beyond the new year. We would highly recommend this experience to any school or group looking to make a difference and share in the joy of Christmas with a truly deserving community." - Cottage #42

"The time was amazing interacting with these fine young men. It was great fun watching their excitement in decorating their house. Plus we had a chance to share with them the Christmas story." - Cottage #35

"This place is amazing. We have done so many great projects. We can make immediate difference in the lives of the children." - Erin (Cottage #25)

"It's just a great feeling to be here." - Alba (Cottage #23) has been participating in Deck the Halls for about 4 years

“Our goal was to provide 11 boys each with a pair of pants, shoes and a shirt. Thanks to your kind and generous donations, we were able to provide 30 boys each with pants, shoes and shirts in addition to other items. It may have been raining outside but House #30 was filled with the smell of cookies in the oven, hot chocolate and more importantly, the laughter and joy that only children can bring. Everyone enjoyed decorating the house and of course the Christmas Tree!! We were also able to share our decorations with another house AND decorate their main office!” – Discovery Latino America (Cottage #30)
