Celebrity Cruise Performers and Women Mentorship bring Sweet Dreams to His Kids...

Celebrating National Foster Care Month

July 13th, 2015 - On Monday July 13th, the children of His House were invited to enjoy a very special treat, a Broadway-like musical by the beautiful and talented Celebrity Cruises performers.

Hosted by Lynn Mercer and her group, Women Mentorship Program, the children also enjoyed a dance lesson; activities and ended the morning with a fantastic pizza party and a surprise distribution of “goodie bags”. This meaningful event was all part of a wonderful idea, turned campaign called “Sweet Dreams”.

Lynn and her team of dedicated ladies worked for months collecting pajamas, books as well as other goodies personalized for each child living at His House. Behind the “Sweet Dreams” project, rests a very important detail. Often times, when children come to His House in the middle of the night with no personal belongings, the first thing we search for is that perfect pair of pajamas. The ladies of Women Mentorship Program believe that pajamas are also one of the most important pieces of clothing children could wear. It represents the feeling of security, warmth and comfort, everything a hurting child should feel in a time of healing.

For that, we are grateful for the support of Women Mentorship Program for their kindness, generosity and loving hearts.

One behalf of all the children of His House, we say THANK YOU!
