His Kids Go Shopping...

April 28th, 2015 - On April 28, 2015, all of the age 12 and over kids from His House had the amazing opportunity to participate in a unique shopping experience! Sybille Guichard, founder and president of the C.A.R.E. for Crohn’s Foundation collaborated with 8 & 9 Manufacturing Company to host the “Purple Shopping Bag” Event.

The 8 & 9 showroom opened their doors to host a boutique featuring donated clothing, shoes and accessories for over 100 teens! The teens were able to shop and pick out what they liked, and their selections were placed into purple shopping bags—symbols which served to raise awareness of Crohn’s disease.

This shopping trip was truly a special moment for our kids – building their self-esteem and giving them the confidence they needed to improve in school. The smiles on their faces told us everything!

Sybille has a big heart for our kids. We admire the way she set aside her own personal battle with Crohn’s disease to celebrate her birthday by creating a wonderful and exciting day of shopping for them.

We are greatly encouraged by Sybille willingness to make a difference in the lives of His kids through this amazing event!
