Volunteers provide substantial benefits to His House Children’s Home. A well-trained team of dedicated and faithful volunteers increases the quality and quantity of programs and services we can offer our children. At its essence, a volunteer is a pair of loving hands that gives.

It is this personal attention in the life of a child through a volunteer that is the key ingredient making the difference in a tender life.  Through this donation of time, volunteers also provide large cost savings to His House by giving us access to their individual, specialized skills at very little to no cost.

The Volunteer Coordination Department is responsible for volunteer recruitment, management, and scheduling of volunteer groups for direct care of children in the cottages, as well as coordinating service and missions projects for various groups on campus. It is imperative that we match the skills, passions and schedules of volunteers and service groups to the needs of His House Children’s Home.
