Volunteers arrived eager to get to work.  The day began with a warm welcome by Iris Marrero following with opening comments by Lourdes Sardinas and opening prayer by our Founder/Executive Director, Jean Caceres- Gonzalez.

After a delicious breakfast, it was time for each team to get to action in different areas around the house. Every group worked hard in their assigned areas to: organize and clean the kitchen; scrub the bathrooms; organize four separate bedrooms; create a breath taking living and dining room space.  After all the work was completed, the volunteers gathered around to meet and greet the 8 boys currently living in that house.

Everyone was filled with excitement as they walked through the doors of their newly renovated home.  You could see the gratitude these kids had as they walked up to each volunteer with appreciation by thanking and hugging them for everything they did to make their home beautiful.  We would like to thank every volunteer for their time and support before and during this project.  It is through your hard work that we are able to provide comfortable, beautiful, and safe homes for the foster children we serve.
