On September 12, 2009, His House Children’s Home participated in the National CASA’s Forgotten Children Campaign. Volunteers, His House mentors and their mentees, kids living in the residential program on campus, marched in support of the 850 children who quietly enter foster care every day in America. :: read more below
Hosted by Voices for Children, the event was held at Bayside where there was plenty of music, dancing, singing, games, prizes, painting, photography and hot glass exhibits created by foster care children. The kids and volunteers had a great time together as they stood up for a cause that effects their life every day. Our children will not be forgotten.
