As volunteers were decorating the homes, a group of carolers went to each home bringing Christmas cheer! Many of our UAC Boys learned for the first time how to bake cookies, some of the teenagers decorated their own stocking, and many of our children were able to help decorate their home’s Christmas tree- Christmas memories they will always have with them.
All the homes were decorating in a two and half hour period of time and then we all met for Christmas songs, a time of worship, and refreshments in our Christmas decorated chapel. It was a beautiful picture to see all the volunteers with the children singing Christmas songs and kicking off the Holiday Season worshipping the King!
Deck the Halls would not have happened without ALL of the volunteers who brought the decorations, dinner and cookies for each home, a craft, and most importantly the Spirit of giving to the least of these this Christmas Season!
