Education on a Firm Foundation
His House Children’s Home is pleased to announce that in collaboration with Dade Christian School, His House Academy has been privatized to DCS His House Academy.

Dade Christian School (DCS) and His House Children’s Home (HHCH) have come together to provide a consistent, faith-based and personalized educational program for South Florida’s at-risk children.

Opened on August 20, 2007, the DCS-His House Academy campus will provide teachers, administration, curriculum, and necessary educational resources to provide the quality education provided at school. This will grant at-risk children residing on campus with the opportunity to learn in a small classroom setting where they will benefit from personalized attention. Researchers have found that foster children face roadblocks and other economically disadvantaged children do not face, roadblocks that can affect their academic performance.

Led by Principal Craig Konchak, the mission of DCS-His House Academy is to challenge students in grades 3K – 8 to become well-balanced, Christ-like persons.
