March 20-28, 2009-His Kids participated in a one-week therapeutic and adventure filled camp. Imagine the view from the beautiful hills of Piney Creek, North Carolina; the peace of the winter and the cold yet calm falling of the snow. Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, fifteen of our children enjoyed “An Adventure on the Mountain with God” at Deerwood Park in Piney Creek, N.C.

We know the harsh realities faced by children placed in the foster care system. They have dealt with abuse, abandonment, neglect and have experienced things that our young children should not have been exposed to.  We are honored to help restore the joy in the lives of hurting children.  It is the help of community partners that make this possible and for this we are forever grateful.
