Happy Birthday
His House Children's Home
Established
in 1989, His House Childrens Home made its 20th year of service to the
communitys at-risk children and their families on February 28, 2009. His House has had many successes in reuniting
broken families and finding loving parents for children in foster care. :: read more below

Taking a
glance back at our marker events, in 1996, His House was licensed by the
Florida Department of Children and Families and contracted by Our Kids Inc. in
Miami-Dade as a child-placement agency for children of all ethnicities from
newborn to 18 years of age. The
organization became licensed in Broward and opened an office at Child-Net, Inc.
in 2006. Partnered with Miami-Dade
County, His House opened an on-campus educational alternative school in 2004 to
give at-risk children a quality education at His House Academy. In 2005, His House expanded its services to
250 clients as a result of privatization into community-based care, today
caring for over 350. In collaboration
with Dade Christian School, in 2007 the His House Academy was turned to a
private faith-based education now called DCS-His House Academy.
Through the
years His House has provided quality care and endless hope to over 1,500
children. Today, the organization is COA
accredited and counted within the top five providers for at-risk children in
South Florida.
