| Easter at His House
April 11, 2009- 20 volunteers from Alpha
& Omega Church came on Easter Sunday to spend a bright morning of fun
outdoor activities with His Kids. After they were served pastries and hot
chocolate, the children couldnt help but to dance and sing to the praise and

They then went on a quest to find 500 eggs hidden in the
bushes and trees of the campus. Every time one was found, you would hear the
exciting burst of accomplishment when they found one. Laughs and giggles basked
in the atmosphere as volunteers challenged the kids to tug of war, the bunny
hop potato sack race, pin the tale on the bunny, and the wooden spoon egg race.
It is tough to determine who had more fun, the children or the volunteers?

Denisse: This event was really nice and it showed me how
each child needs time to be spent with them.
Nancy: This event showed me how graceful they are. Also,
we need to just give them love and spend time with them. I truly had an amazing
time!
Isabel: Participar en el evento de hoy, me dió una
alegria y a la vez tristeza, como madre de dos teenagers pienso que estos niños
y teenagers lo que más necesitan es amor y atención. Dios le da a una como
madre la vision de amar a los niños es lo que cuenta. Que dios los bendiga a
todos estes niños que participarón hoy en el evento.

overwhelmed me today; I felt the presence of God throughout each and every
child. Their smiles and laughs, no price can pay. I encourage every human being
to hug and love every child; it’s
priceless. As I left the campus, a child asked me, “When are you coming again?”
My heart says “Everyday.” I love you guys. I pray God is with you everyday!
