His House
Christmas is a wonderful time of year at His House Children's Home. We
experience the goodness and giving hearts of our community first hand.
On Saturday, December 6, 2008 two hundred volunteers helped bring
Christmas to His House Childrens Home by launching our Deck the Halls

| Each group adopted a cottage for the day and donated decorations
for the Christmas tree. Each group also decorated the outside of the
cottage with lights, poinsettias, wreaths, baked cookies and prepared
dinner with the children. The yearly anticipated event comes to an end
when all groups, children, and staff come together in our campus
chapel, and we celebrated the end of an unforgettable event. In our
closing prayer, I asked one of our children to pray, Jesus prayed that
God would instill the want for his parents to want him back. This
prayer made a bittersweet dent in all of our hearts. We realized how
important it is to pour love into a childs life by simply spending
time with them.
